Administrative Assistant

Job Diaz serves as an Administrative Assistant at Friends of Cancer Research (Friends). Friends is an advocacy organization based in Washington, DC that drives collaboration among partners from every healthcare sector to power advances in science, policy, and regulation that speed up life-saving treatments for patients.

At Friends, Job provides support to the President & CEO and assists with the coordination of various organizational activities, including meetings, conferences, and travel. He also contributes to special projects related to patient advocacy and tracking of regulatory policy and congressional action.

Before joining Friends, Job worked as an Accountant Assistant at National Public Radio. There he was entrusted with the crucial task of managing financial records ensuring fiscal integrity and seamlessly supporting executive-level professionals.

With a passion for advocacy cultivated through involvement with various grassroots social-justice organizations, Job has years of advocacy experience and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Job’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Art in Mass Communications from the University of Maryland, Global Campus, and an Associate of Art in Journalism from Montgomery College.
