Friends of Cancer Research (Friends) is excited to announce a new webinar for advocates to explore the topics discussed during Friends 2024 Annual Meeting. On December 5, Friends will host a “Friends Annual Meeting 2024 Recap: Sharing Next Steps and Opportunities with Advocates.” This event will provide an overview of the three topics from the November 12th Friends’ Annual Meeting 2024, offer advocates the opportunity to engage directly with experts, and deepen their understanding of the topics discussed at the Annual Meeting. We’ll break down conversations around:
- Using pragmatic trial elements to improve trial designs. Read the white paper here.
- Alex Wyatt, University of British Columbia, Canada.
- Carol Vallett, Friends Advisory Advocate
- Approaches to ensuring interim overall survival (OS) analyses are more accurate and reliable. Read the white paper here.
- Nevine Zariffa, NMD Group
- Marc Theoret, OCE, U.S. FDA
- Advancing changes in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as an intermediate endpoint in oncology drug development. Read the white paper here.
- Ashita Batavia, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine
- Eva May, Friends Advisory Advocate
We’ll also set aside time for attendees to ask questions about these topics. Advocates will gain insights into how these initiatives are driving more efficient, patient-centered drug development and improving patient outcomes.
