Linda Ostermann serves as the Director, Grants and Operations at Friends of Cancer Research (Friends). Friends is an advocacy organization based in Washington, DC that drives collaboration among partners from every healthcare sector to power advances in science, policy, and regulation that speed life-saving treatments to patients.
Linda is responsible for the development of funding strategies, steering funding commitments, and building Friends support from corporations, foundations, and individuals. Linda also oversees the fiscal health at Friends by administering the organization’s financial activities.
Since joining Friends in 2015, Linda previously held the roles of Research Assistant, Executive Assistant and Manager, Grants and Operations.
Linda graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Public Policy.
